Recorded in summer 1994 at Birdland Studios in Geneva only with the help of resident sound engineer Paolo Valenti, ZOS KIA KAOS moves back to a pure electronic sound. Also containing some instrumental ambient/industrial and techno-metalish tracks, the whole album is very dark and cold. Becuzzi here dealt with eschatological theories, analysing the chaotic systems and laws of entropy.
The release of ZOS KIA KAOS had to be postponed from end 1994 to early 1995 because of problems with the cover artwork after the record had been licensed from Angelo Bergamini's label Ludwig II to German label/distribution Discordia. The track "Genetica Magica Atomica" though was already released in 1994 as a teaser to the album on Discordia's CD compilation "Taste This 3".
Silvio Pucci's contribution to ZOS KIA KAOS was limited to the bass guitar on "Street Surgery".
