EVIRAZIONE TOTEMICA SERIALE was recorded in December 1992 at Blue Velvet by Paolo Favati and Federico Panero, with Elena Margarolo again contributing backing vocals on two tracks ("Dominio E Sottomissione" and "Solo Carcasse").
In his lyrics, Becuzzi dealt with individual and collective identity crisis, manifested in the conflict between a scientific vision of the world and a mystical/transcendental one, leading to the fall of the traditional values. The music generally moves more into industrial-metal territories, incorporated for instance in the new versions of some LIMBO classics like "In Limbo" (now titled "Dans Le Limbo" and sung in French), "Poisoned Kisses" (with new lyrics and new title "Blutfeuchttraeume"), "Carnalia" (renamed to "Nova Carnalia") or "Libido Mater Nostra" (with new lyrics and new title "Mater Libido"). Also, two cover versions can be found on the tracklist: "Eresiarca" (originally Death In June's "She Said Destroy") and "Solo Carcasse" (originally T.A.C.'s "Hypnotischer Eden"). So apart from intro and outro, the only real new tracks on this album are "Inferus, Veni Ad Nos" and "Dominio E Sottomissione".
