COMPENDIUM: THE LIGHT FALL, the last chapter of the MILLENIUM TRAX TRILOGY, was originally planned for late 2000 to early 2001 as a live overview on LIMBO's career from the 80s to the new millenium's productions. Problems with the old label Energeia led to a break of almost one year and a conceptual change of the album.
After signing with Cursed Land Entertainment in July 2002, COMPENDIUM: THE LIGHT FALL became a sort of "best of" compilation still comprising the originally planned tracks, but in lavishly re-edited, remastered and remixed studio versions, not adding any new sound but readapting the old ones to the new arrangements, except for the live version of "Widowmaker" (the only track left as-is from the original album plan), the new medley "Madre, Chiesa, Libido" and the final ghost track of the album.
Work in D.Loop's Sound Cubed Studio in Bari took quite long, which explains the final release date in early 2004 - marking the end of the project LIMBO two decades after its formation, and making COMPENDIUM: THE LIGHT FALL what the title suggests.

In September 2006, COMPENDIUM: THE LIGHT FALL was rereleased by Cursed Land Entertainment in a box set limited to 300 copies under the title "Esoteric Body Music".
