After long-time singer Alex Spalck left PANKOW in 1993, Paolo Favati (LIMBO producer between 1989 and 1993), who had been working on new material, asked Becuzzi in 1995 to take the vocalist part on the new, self-titled PANKOW album.
It was released in 1996 and sold very well particularly in Germany. The following European tour in March 1997 wasn't that satisfying though, and problems between Becuzzi and Fasolo during the tour led to him quitting the same year.
There was a limited 12" release (iptarro O-01) accompanying the album, with A-side "Brenne Europa Brenne" - the stomping second track of the album sung in German - as well as a few compilation appearances going along with the album release.
Becuzzi, being increasingly involved with his new project Kinetix, when being asked again also refused to do the vocals on PANKOW's 2001 album, which ultimately led to Alex Spalck returning as singer.
